Who makes Sunderland a better place? Place your vote!

As part of the opening celebrations for Culture House Sunderland, residents are being invited to nominate local people who make a real difference to life in our city.

 

Up to 52 local heroes will be selected to take part in a unique ribbon-cutting ceremony when Culture House Sunderland officially opens on Saturday 12 September, putting local people at the heart of this landmark moment.

 

Do you know someone who goes above and beyond? Whether through volunteering, community action, education, business, sport, culture, charity work, creativity, or simple acts of kindness, Culture House wants to hear their story.

 

Following the opening, each of the 52 chosen individuals will be celebrated throughout the year in Culture House Sunderland’s Local Studies space, creating a lasting tribute to the people who help make Sunderland special.
