Over the past 13 years, Uplift has empowered individuals who face significant barriers, helping them rediscover their confidence and believe in themselves. Many of these individuals had experienced extended periods of unemployment, lacked essential skills, and struggled with motivation, resilience, and aspiration. However, after connecting with our services, they’ve transformed their outlook and taken positive steps towards personal growth. Our passionate staff guides participants through each stage of their journey, supporting them to find employment, further training, or engage in volunteering. These amazing, life-changing individuals have overcome years of self-doubt and have now shifted their mindset, taking actions that benefit not only themselves but also their families and the wider Sunderland community.
