Sunderland Counselling Service

We offer a number of specialist counselling and link work services.

Our counsellors in these specialist services use a person-centred approach and have additional training to support the specific needs of the groups they work with. We are proud to be a British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited Counselling Service.

Our Specialist Counselling areas are:

• Bereavement Counselling
• Trauma Counselling for Survivors of Sexual Violence
• Workplace Occupational Health Counselling
• Counselling for Children and Young People
• Community Treatment Team Counselling

 

In addition to our counselling provisions, we also have link worker services which adopt the person-centred approach and have specialist training to support the unique needs of the individuals and communities they serve.

• Community Mental Health
• Maternal Mental Health
• Listening Ear
• Children and Young People Mental Health
• Psychiatric Liaison Team
