For nearly five decades, Springboard has been a beacon of educational support and development for local communities. Our commitment to fostering growth and learning is evident through our network of centres strategically placed across the region. Here’s what we offer:

1. Centres Across the North East:

   • Springboard’s centers are spread throughout the North East of England, serving communities in Sunderland (including Pallion, Pennywell, and Southwick), Peterlee, Hetton le Hole, Hartlepool, and South Tyneside. These centres act as hubs for education, training, and community engagement.

2.  Opportunities:

   • Apprenticeships: Springboard provides apprenticeship programs in Business Administration and Customer Service. These hands-on experiences allow individuals to learn while working.
   • Adult Education: For those interested in Health and Social Care, Springboard offers Level 1 and 2 courses. These programmes equip learners with essential skills for careers in healthcare and social services.
   • Functional Skills: Springboard supports learners in improving their English and Maths proficiency, which are fundamental for everyday life and work.
   • ICT Training: From Entry Level 3 to Level 1, Springboard offers ICT courses, recognising the importance of digital literacy in today’s world.

3. Study Programme for 16-19 Year-Olds:

   • Springboard’s flexible study programme caters to young people aged 16 to 19. Here are some of the areas covered:
     • Hair and Beauty: For aspiring stylists, beauticians, and salon professionals.
     • Construction: Level 1 and 2 courses for those interested in the construction industry.
     • Animal Care: Learn about caring for animals, whether as a pet owner or pursuing a career in animal-related fields.  Level 1 and Level 2
     • Health and Social Care: Explore the world of healthcare, social work, and support services. Level 1 – Level 2
     • Childcare: Develop skills related to early childhood education and childcare. Level 1 – Level 3
