Southwick Altogether Raising Aspirations (SARA)

We support people in the Southwick Ward (Monkwearmouth, Carley Hill, Marley Pots and Southwick) by providing help, support and guidance to solve any issues they have. We also signpost to other organisations who can support and will help you through the whole process.  

We have fun days during the school holidays which are free to attend. Follow us on social media to keep up to date.

We have a free weekly ‘Munch Bunch’ lunch club which is for people aged 65+ in the Southwick ward . The club includes a free 2 course lunch, refreshments and entertainment including free bingo games and a quiz. Get in touch if you would like to come along, or know someone who would benefit. 

We work with volunteers on Southwick Green to improve the appearance of the area. We are always looking for new volunteers and you don’t need to have any experience of gardening or tools.

We hold monthly litter picking groups in Fulwell Quarry. We are a small and friendly group who like to keep our beautiful quarry tidy for animals to live and people to enjoy.
