We also provide professional development opportunities for dancers and educators, helping to nurture talent and encourage lifelong learning.

By prioritising diversity in our offerings, we ensure that everyone in our community can find a place in our delivery. We’re here to support you on your journey, fostering a love for dance that can lead to a healthier, happier life.

What clients say about our service

The children have thoroughly enjoyed their time working with Clare. They look forward to the sessions and are very enthusiastic when they talk about the dances they are learning. It has been amazing to see the potential and creativity the children have shown which can be rare to see due to the children’s Autism. The children have shown an increase in physical skills, imagination and communication in dancing sessions and the dances /skills they have learnt with Clare have helped and supported their dancing in PE lessons. The outcomes we have see have 100% exceeded what we thought possible when planning the project in September. Clare’s skills and enthusiasm with the children have been fantastic and she has adapted her routines to the needs of our children superbly. She has been an inspiration and has shown us new ways and approaches to teaching dance.

Thomas Bewick Primary

The sessions are fun and interactive and aim to encourage all participants - students have the opportunity to take part in a physical activity that may not be available to them otherwise. We have students who visibly gain confidence during the 50 minute sessions, students and their peers can see how far they have come from the first to final steps of a dance piece.

Castleview Secondary School

Our Monday wellbeing group enjoyed their final Step Forward dance session with Dean from NorthEast Dance Cic doing a mix of street dance, zumba, body combat and yoga.

The Wider World Project

Dean who came to our event was excellent throughout the day. He was engaging with the children and set the dance level at the correct ability for all our children, so no one felt like they couldn’t do what had been asked. We had some excellent feedback from the other schools who attended the event and they all left saying how much they had enjoyed the day. Thank you for attending and we look forward to working with your company in the near future.

New Silksworth Academy

Can I give positive feedback to the instructor. Very enjoyable class, clear instructions given, good music and good exercises and warm up and cool down.

Jarrow Focus

Jade was an amazing ball of energy! She lit up the room with her infectious smile and provided high quality classes which had everyone sweating.

Spennymoor Leisure Centre

Having the opportunity to experience a dance class with such skilled, yet fun and friendly teachers has been fantastic for our children, thank you! Even some of the older lads who were a bit sceptical (and find it difficult to engage with anything other than football) joined in yesterday.

Healthworks Newcastle

Yr 6 teacher - It was amazing! The teacher was so knowledgeable about the war, she had hand written notes and planned it well to introduce the topic and discuss facts with the children first to introduce the dance. She was so patient with the kids as well and they all engaged really well. Yr 1 teacher - Sandra was brilliant! The session was so engaging for the children and I saw every child in the class participating and feeling confident to do so! The children all came away learning something new, regarding dance and knowledge around our chosen theme due to the dedication shown by North East Dance to make the session immersive. PE coordinator - Every class teacher has had only positive things to say regarding the sessions and all children were eager to share their experience! Thank you and just to reiterate, Sandra really was phenomenal based on all the feedback I have received.

Burnside Academy

Thanks again for providing Emily for our playscheme last week. Some of the children really engaged well and surprised us how well they picked up and learnt the routine. They were even doing parts of the routine in the afternoon!

Can I please take this opportunity to say a very big thank you for the sessions held at the centre. The salsa class has been so much fun and we all feel that we have learned so much. Please could you let our teacher know how much we have enjoyed ourselves. The Lets All Boogie sessions have been very well enjoyed by all the little ones and their parents. You know when they have enjoyed themselves when they come out smiling. If you could please pass our thanks onto your team thank you all so much.
