Lambton Street Youth and Community Hub

Our centre is managed by an elected management Committee who has overall responsibility for the project. The Committee employs Marie Mould (Project Manager) who is a qualified Youth & Community Worker and is responsible for the day to day running of the centre.
We act as a community resource for individuals living in the City of Sunderland by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical, educational and other activities as a means of:
Advancing in life and helping individuals by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals.
Providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for inhabitants of the Area of Benefit who have need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances with a view to improving the conditions of life of such persons.
