Living Well with Dementia

Living with dementia does not mean life stops. With the right information, support, and connections, people can continue to live meaningful, active, and fulfilling lives. This page brings together local services, advice, and resources to help people living with dementia, their families, friends, and carers. A diagnosis is the beginning of a new journey, not the end of one.

What is Dementia?

Dementia is an umbrella term for a range of conditions that affect memory, thinking, communication, and everyday activities. Everyone experiences dementia differently, and many people continue to live independently and remain active in their communities for many years after diagnosis.
