About the event

This session is hosted by Community Opportunities Washington Clean and Green project.

Join the group on Tuesday 22 September 9.30am to 11.30am meeting at the Viewpoint carpark. This session will involve litter picking. If the weather is dry the group will be repainting the seating and lamp posts along the main eastern path. If wetter weather is forecast the group carry out a Balsam Bash in the Burn towards the Western Highway.

Anyone can join in. Please dress according to weather forecasts and wear sturdy footwear (boots, trainers or wellies) and have clothes they don’t mind getting mucky. Clean and Green can provide gloves, hi-viz and equipment.

Please wear sturdy footwear, some paths across the park are paved and some are not. If you have queries about access please contact Ian at Community Opportunities about activities planned for the day.

Dress for weather forecasts – waterproof clothing, sun hat and sun cream where necessary.
Sturdy footwear.
Wear long sleeves and long trousers.

Parking information

Free parking is available at the viewpoint carpark. Additional parking can be found at at the Galleries (free up to 4 hours).

Bicycle parking

Bicycle parking is available opposite Washington Leisure Centre.
