Muddy Wellies is supported by Public Health Sunderland to get young children outdoors to improve their health and wellbeing, develop new skills and learn about nature.

Bring your little ones along to join us for a series of free, fun, weekly outdoor walks and activities in Hetton Lyons Country Park. Sessions are aimed at pre-school children between 2 and 5 years and will take place outdoors in January and February.

Find the Animal Footprints – Discover all the different tracks that we might see in the wild. Learn what footprints each animals makes and why they have different shaped feet. Practice story telling through clues that animals leave behind when they move through the woods.
