Cows will soon start grazing on Elemore Park. Do you have any questions or concerns about livestock moving onto the park? We are excited to begin conservation grazing and would like to share our plans for improving grassland habitat. We will meet at Elemore Park What3Words: ///since.spud.richly (Elemore Garden Centre and Coffee Shop, Elemore Ln, Easington Lane, Hetton-le-Hole, Houghton le Spring DH5 0QS). Please note during the time of this event the toilets and cafe will not be open. The carpark will remain open. Free parking is available.
During our walk there will be uneven pathways and terrain. Please dress for the outdoors and wear sturdy footwear or waterproof footwear and clothing where possible. This session will take place outdoors. This event is weather permitting. Should we have adverse weather or a weather warning is issued, if you have booked a ticket on Eventbrite, you will receive a notification email from Durham Wildlife Trust via Eventbrite stating that the event is cancelled.
This event is aimed at those in the Coalfield Area. Those under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian.
