Links with Nature Orchard Spring Clean at Hetton Park

This session will include orchard maintenance including clearing pathways and pruning. Everyone is welcome! If staying for the duration of the session, a packed lunch is advised, as we’ll take a short break for a packed lunch picnic at 12pm-12:30pm.

We will meet at the entrance closest to the Community Orchard at Hetton Park from Houghton Road (https://maps.app.goo.gl/ThBbkNXTHL2RDRqu5), What3Words: ///sharpened.fool.tapes. Parking is available nearby at The Hetton Centre, Welfare Road, Hetton-le-Hole DH5 9NE | What3Words: ///bookings.recently.ramble

All tools, PPE and instructions on how to use them, will be provided. Please wear warm clothes and sturdy footwear. Any attendees under 18s must be supervised at all times by a parent/guardian.

Please note there are no on site facilities such as toilets at Hetton Park. Nearby facilities may be available at Hetton Community Pool & Wellness Centre (next to Hetton Centre).

Dogs are not permitted on this event. Service and medical assistance dogs are exempt. Thank you for your understanding.
