Join Links with Nature and Mark from Living Woods at Hetton Park for a celebration of the orchard to ‘wake’ the trees from Winter, with nature-based crafts and activities. Followed by pruning and getting the orchard ready for the new year.
The Wassail will take place 10am-12pm with tree care from 12:30pm-2:30pm. Come along for the morning, afternoon or both. Everyone is welcome! A packed lunch if advised staying for the duration of the session, as we’ll take a short break for a packed lunch picnic at 12pm-12:30pm.
Booking via Eventbrite is essential to attend as staff to prepare equipment and resources according to attendee numbers. To book click ‘Community Wassailing at Hetton Park | Eventbrite’ on Linktree and register: https://linktr.ee/linkswithnature

This is session 2 in our Introduction to Orchards Programme. Session 3 takes place February 8th. Booking opening soon via Linktree. We hope to establish a group to look after, and make use of, the orchard in the long term. It would therefore be preferable that attendees live in the Coalfield area.
