Join Links with Nature for a Community Clean Up at Herrington Burn!
No booking required – Drop in anytime and lend a hand with a mass litter pick around Herrington Burn. Just check in with a member of the Links with Nature Team to get started.
This is a chance to improve Herrington Burn for people and wildlife by removing as much rubbish as possible. Rubbish is dangerous for wildlife, pollutes the burns and looks unpleasant. By working together, we can make a difference!
Meet at the end of Bamburgh Crescent (Shiney Row, Houghton le Spring, DH4 4RX) by the footpath leading down to the burn. What3Words: ///transmitted.solar.hotel
Please wear sturdy footwear, come dressed for the weather, and bring gloves if you have them. Litter pickers and bags will be provided. If staying all session a packed lunch is advised.
