We currently offer a programme called First Steps Forward, which has been designed specifically to support economically inactive individuals who may feel unsure or overwhelmed about moving towards education or employment. The programme takes a gentle, staged approach to ensure learners feel supported at every step.

First Steps Forward is split into three stages, each stage classes as 1 training day each (3 days in total):

  • Stage One focuses on building confidence, communication skills, and light digital skills, helping learners feel more comfortable re-engaging with learning and personal development.
  • Stage Two transitions into Find My Skill, looking into what types of roles are out there alongside a first look at finances and trauma informed practices. This ensures that individuals who may need additional support receive it in a safe, understanding environment on your site.
  • Stage Three is more employability focused, covering CV writing and interview preparation. This includes access to BodySwaps, an online virtual practice tool that allows learners to rehearse interviews with an AI avatar, helping to reduce anxiety and build confidence. Following completion, learners can also progress into further opportunities such as pre-employment programmes with guaranteed interviews, apprenticeships, and/or college qualifications.

While this outlines our core offer, it’s important to note that this programme is not fixed. We are more than happy to work with you to create a fully bespoke package that reflects the specific needs of your community, carers, families, and support networks.

If this sounds of interest, I love to arrange a call or meeting to talk it through in more detail and explore how this could support the people you work with.
