Community Clean Up Elemore Park
We will be working to improve the park by collecting litter, enhancing the area for people and wildlife. This Community Clean Up is delivered through collaboration with Sunderland City Council, and Coalfield Clean It Green It. We will also be cleaning a trough for the cattle on site.

The area we are working on near Deepdale Street, which is a 10 minute walk from the meeting point. If you have any concerns about accessibility on site, please email Jonathan, Links with Nature Conservation Trainee at jphillips@durhamwt.co.uk.
No prior experience required. If you are new to volunteering or the task, correct tool use will be demonstrated. The ongoing management and environmental benefits will also be discussed.
All tools and any PPE, including gloves, and safety glasses will be provided on the day.
Walking boots or wellies recommended, depending on weather conditions.
We ask that you please bring a packed lunch if staying for the duration of the session. We usually have lunch around 12pm.
