Whether you’re ready to move into your first team leader role or want to build on existing experience, our Aspiring Team Leader Programme is the perfect opportunity to upskill and progress.

This fully accredited Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Team Leading is designed to equip you with the core skills needed to lead a team effectively in today’s workplace. You’ll gain valuable insights into leadership styles, communication strategies, conflict resolution, and more — all aligned with real working environments.

The course will take place across 12 weeks, consisting of 5 face to face sessions at City Hall with all other learning taking place independently via our specialist online training platform.

Understand the importance of inclusive practices and legal responsibilities in the workplace.

🔹 Unit 6: Develop Working Relationships

Enhance teamwork, give constructive feedback, and understand conflict resolution techniques.

Understand key laws and responsibilities relating to health, safety, and employee support.

🔹 Unit 8: Develop & Deliver a Presentation

Learn how to plan, create, and evaluate presentations using different media formats.
