Point Based System
The Affordable Food Hub at Silksworth Youth and Community Centre offers low-cost, nutritious food and essential household items to support individuals and families affected by the rising cost of living.
Funded by Sunderland City Council and Feeding Britain, the hub runs on a Thursday and uses a simple point-based system to make shopping affordable and flexible.
Open to everyone — no referral required.
