If you want to rediscover the joys of playing football or even start to play, Walking Football could be the activity for you. It is exactly what it sounds like -football where you walk around instead of running. You will be coached to learn new skills and if you’ve played football before you can bring your skills to the pitch.
It will help you get fit and rediscover the joys of playing a non-contact team sport and it’s not just your physical health that will benefit. You can meet up with friends and make new ones, and getting out of the house and being active can help improve your mental health. This is a brilliant team sport that is suitable for everyone.
