Virtual Picnics are informal online meet-ups open to anyone, individuals or organisations, with an interest in food. Held over lunchtime, attendees are welcome to bring their lunch and join with cameras on or off, depending on what feels most comfortable.
Each session explores a different theme related to food and community. Past topics have included food aid, featuring speakers from Sunderland Foodbank and the Bread and Butter Thing, as well as sessions with guests from community gardens and cookery classes.
Whether you’re curious, passionate, or actively involved in food-related work, we’d love to have you join us.
