Seated and Standing Pilates is beneficial for those with arthritis, recovering from injuries, and those who have mobility issues or health conditions.  

Using resistance bands and soft balls, it helps to: 

  • Improve balance, posture, and core strength, reducing the risk of falls and fractures.  
  • Relieve joint and muscle pain.   
  • Provide better flexibility, coordination, stability, and increased energy levels.

Yin Yoga focuses on holding poses for longer periods than other yoga poses, for deeper stretches of the fascia, ligaments and tendons, opening up the joints and leading to greater flexibility.   

Physical benefits include:  

  • Increased flexibility and range of joint movement. 
  • Support for back, hip, shoulder, knee pain.  
  • Calms the nervous system leaving you feeling deeply relaxed.

Seated exercise can be done in or out of the chair. The workout is done to background music and uses body weight and resistance bands to improve your mobility and coordination that can help with everyday tasks. Our classes are sociable and are a great way to meet new people. You can relax after the workout over a cup of tea or coffee with the group.

A gentle, welcoming class for anyone looking to relax and recharge. Enjoy flowing QIGONG movements, calming YIN YOGA, soothing SOUND THERAPY, and mindful BREATH WORK. Each session includes GUIDED MEDITATION, CHAKRA BALANCING, and DEEP RELAXATION to help you feel centred and at ease. Perfect for beginners — no experience needed!
