Active Sunderland BIG 3K Run

The BIG 3K Run is a fun, friendly event that’s perfect for beginners. You can walk, jog, or run—there’s no pressure, just plenty of support and smiles.
This 3K route takes you through Sunderland’s city centre on closed roads, so it’s safe and easy to enjoy. The atmosphere is amazing, with hundreds of people taking part and cheering you on. It’s held on the same day as the Sunderland 10K and Half Marathon, so the whole city is buzzing!

Minimum age: 5 years (children aged 8 and under must run with an adult).
